Gideon Vérité

On September 4th, famous British director Smiley Stevens is murdered while shooting his latest project. Failed actor, Gideon Yeal, is chosen by the “B” Mafia to step in as “Smiley” and finish the film. For Gideon, it’s the role of a lifetime, a chance to use his talents and for the first time in his life be the puppeteer instead of the puppet. But when his Aunt Rosie’s life is threatened, Gideon realizes that this golden opportunity comes with strings attached. And as the film wraps, so do the characters within it, leaving Gideon to take on yet another identity, and a dangerous new reality that has only just begun to unfold.
